is a small confectionery in the heart of the historical part of Nizhny Novgorod. The space  is only 50 square meters, but a clear advantage is in the high ceiling, almost 5 meters, as well as a large double-glazed window overlooking the pedestrian street of the city. The central element of the composition was decided to be a bar construction made of natural oak and marble which would frame the open kitchen and confectionery department. In the process of construction, suspended ceilings were dismantled and we discovered gypsum elements in the style of Soviet modernism dating back to the 70s and 80s. The decision was made to leave this stucco molding together with the floor tiles that matched it, and furthermore we created the interior on the principle of contrasts and the installation of new, modern elements in the historical context of the room.
